So I googled this fellows name and hello but there he is on Facebook,although because he has no photo I can't be 100% certain it IS him,but logic leads me to the conclusion that although there are literally hundreds of Smith's in Christchurch there aren't stuff all named Brendan.This particular member declares  no personal information other than "Brendan Smith lives in  Christchurch" and that he has 16 friends.

Well folks I know another person who,like Brendan is a bit camera-shy,also giving out no personal information about themselves and it is NOT because of a fear of identity theft,but really because they've done something in their past that they'd rather just forget about and their paranoia is that someone will be able to put a name to their face and identify them.

I dunno,maybe I'm turning into a nasty bastard,because I spent a good half an hour contemplating sending him an 'Add me as as friend request" just to spook him out a bit and it might be that one of his REAL friends queries who the hell I am and how did I get onto their friends list,but I think I was just daydreaming,because it couldn't be that easy though,could it? Anyway that prick made my life pretty bloody miserable and a couple of sayings spring to mind "treat others as you would like to be treated" and "what goes around comes around" and believe me people,when I tell you that HIS turn has finally come!!

Every medical person that I've spoken to about him has told me that I should talk to him about it,but I've had years of experience with the complaints procedure and what happens is you write him a letter,wait about a month for him to write back telling you how he's investigated himself,making out that you're the only one with a problem.Then you can go to an advocate,wait for them to write the same letter just in their own words and wait another month for him to get back to her,before you can go to the health and disability commissioner and wait ANOTHER month for his representative to write back telling you why they've decided AS USUAL to do nothing and quote some obscure law for why and the upshot is that you waste a good 6 months stressed out and in all that time only 3 people have ever heard about it and likely only 1 of them,has even read it.Or you can do what most of you's do and just go round telling any of your friends keen enough to listen to you and just never go back to him which keeps it all hidden from public scrutiny and empowers people like Brendan to continue doing exactly the same thing to someone else.

Well I'll put it to you that if John Key holds himself accountable for HIS actions,what makes these bloody doctors any damned different eh?They act just like little gods,picking and choosing who they help and who they don't help,who will look after their own before they'd look after their patient.Personally I think it's all a bit unethical isn't it?After all they're DOCTORS  aren't they?
