Never seen a whole game. Couldn't comment. Good to see some one finally has put a sport post though!

On The Wellington Phoenix and Man City

Hey peoples,

just a small rant/discussion on both of the above mentioned teams - Man City and the Wellington Phoenix.

Man City: You've got a multi-billionaire owner, whose purse could afford any player in the world hundreds of times over, and you buy Gareth Barry and Toure.. Not to knock any of the players Man City have bought, but none of them are exactly world beaters. in fact, most are just cast offs from their original teams, wanting to double their salaries. Thank god for people like Kaka, who didn't join Man City for the money, and instead went to Real madr... oh, wait...

Wellington Phoenix: Another season roles round, new players, different style, same result. is it impossible for this team to play decent football? They have half decent players in Sigmound, Bertos (well...) and others, yet Herbert persists in buying old, fading English has beens.. They even have two young exciting Kiwi forwards in Barbarouses (or however you spell it) and Roujas (Ditto), but again, Herbert doesn't play them. I think we should give up on having a New Zealand team. It brings more grief than good.

Your thoughts on either subject are welcome, though I can't imagine there will be any, both are rather mundane and already over discussed subjects. This was more just a personal rant. Thank you and good night.
